Terms of Service

Last updated November 6, 2026

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Digital Native, Co. (“we”), which operates Nameline. By using Nameline, you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you confirm that you can bind that company to these terms. You must be at least 18. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

The service

Nameline reads a website’s homepage, writes questions a customer might ask, puts them to AI answer engines through their APIs, and reports who gets named and which sources are cited. A free check is a one-off report. Pro adds tracked brands, daily scans and trend charts.

We may change or discontinue features or engines. If a change substantially reduces what you’ve paid for, you can cancel and contact us.

Results are estimates

AI answers vary between runs, models and people. Reports show a sample of answers from specific API models at a specific time. They may differ from what a customer sees in a consumer app, and Google AI Overviews and Naver AI Briefing aren’t measured. Automated analysis can also misidentify brands or a business. We don’t guarantee any result, including that AI engines will name your brand more often. Check important findings before relying on them.

Your account

You sign in with Google or with an email and password. Keep your Google account or password secure, and don’t reuse a password from another site, because you’re responsible for activity under your Nameline account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.

Pro subscriptions

  • Price: Pro costs US$49 per month or US$470.40 per year, plus any applicable taxes. It includes up to 5 tracked brands.
  • Automatic renewal: your subscription renews at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and we charge your payment method at the then-current price until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: cancel any time from Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep Pro until then.
  • Refunds: payments are non-refundable and partial periods aren’t credited, except where the law requires a refund.
  • Failed payments: if a payment fails, we and Stripe may retry it. If it stays unpaid, the subscription can end and daily scans stop.
  • After a subscription ends: your tracked brands’ existing results stay readable, and scans pause until you subscribe again.
  • Price changes: we’ll give you notice before a price change applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.

Stripe processes payments, subject to its own terms.

Limits

Free checks and tracked scans are subject to usage limits, which we may change to protect the service. Scans can be delayed when a daily capacity limit is reached.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights through the service.
  • Get around usage limits, or use multiple accounts or addresses to do so.
  • Disrupt, attack, scrape or probe the service, or use it to attack any website.
  • Enter false information about a brand to mislead others.
  • Resell the service, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.

Your content and reports

You keep your rights in what you submit. You let us use it, and let our service providers process it, as needed to run Nameline. Only submit information you’re allowed to share. You may use your reports in your business, including sharing them with others. Anyone with a report’s link can open it. We own Nameline itself, including its software and design. AI answers in reports come from third-party models, and we don’t endorse them or claim they’re accurate.

Suspension and ending

You can stop using Nameline at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the service or others. If we end a subscription without cause, we’ll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of US$100 and the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law says can’t be limited.

Indemnity

If you use Nameline for a business, you’ll cover our reasonable losses from third-party claims caused by your content or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

The laws of the State of Delaware, USA, govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that any mandatory consumer rights and venue rights where you live still apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and tell subscribers about significant changes before they take effect. If you keep using Nameline after that, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, cancel before they take effect.
